I have been on the phone for over an hour now with both Apple and Verizon trying to pay full retail for a phone. Every time I get to the point that it has me put in my information for my Verizon account (account is in good standing, Verizon reps said that I wouldn't even need a downpayment through them to do device payments) it says that Verizon my require a deposit and that I should reserve to buy at the Apple Store.

I am paying for the phone outright at 849.00 so that I can keep my unlimited data. Verizon does not know why this is happening. I have had a Verizon Customer Service Rep, Verizon Customer Service Supervisor, Verizon Credit Specialist, Apple Sales Rep and, Apple Supervisor and no one knows what is causing this issue. I am kind of thinking that is just not meant to be for me to order this phone lol

I am beginning to believe that. The people at Verizon were all saying that they was really glad that I was paying full price for the phone to keep it, and that there should be no issues on their end. They said that I was even approved to order phones for all my lines on device payments through them without any deposit.

Ordered 2 iP6s+'s for VZW using Apple Store App on iPhone. No issues. Paid full price and kept UDP for both phones.

I am still on the phone with them. Still not got a phone ordered

Update: I am still on the phone with them. They say that there is a glitch in their system and they do not have a work around for it. They are telling me that I need to come into my local Apple Store(1.5 hours away). Verizon says I am cleared to charge up to 6,000 dollars to my account and all my credit on their end is perfect. I am really just about over this and am tired of hearing them say I understand.
