Apple store app is letting me preorder X with the upgrade plan. Should I continue through to process?

Did you try it? Whatever happened to the old option where we can pick the one we want and put a heart so it stored our preference?

I apologize - I was going through this process for the 8 (I'm getting the iP8 256) and while it let me go through all the steps as if I was purchasing it, it did not allow me to continue to the last billing step.

Oh dang, thanks for the update. However, I believe you can now store your preference if you want the 8 correct? I received an email about preparing for Friday for 8ers.

Yes but its for those who are currently on iPhone Upgrade Program where you can get a pre-approval for a faster check out. For those who are buying outright or other means will have to wait till tomorrow when the pre-order starts for the 8/8+
