Orea color Iphone 4??

So lets all think about this one. Getting a certain color iphone. lets say white. then going to a authorized dealer and getting a black back and putting it on yours. Is this possible?? would be cool

I've always been a fan of the white, and loved the mockups of the new iPhone with the white back when photos of the white were first leaked. I'd love to get an iPhone 4 with black front and white back.

Isn't that what the white 3G and 3GS already are, black front and white back?

The only combo that would be different is white front and black back.

I kid I'm not sure if this is possible. In the iPhone 4 video on Apple's website, they talked about how the screen is now laminated to the hardware, doing away with the gap around the phone between the screen and chrome bezel. So I guess you could try, but it could mean a HUGE waste of money if it doesn't work.

Also, someone posted a mock-up somewhere in this forum...it wasn't pretty.

haha welll... oreo was the first thing that came to mind. but yea I'm not gunna try it now
