I just got an iPhone 3G and was wondering if there is a way to use Smart Mailboxes or Mail Rules on the iPhone to sort emails?
I have mail on my MBP to sort emails into folders using mail rules but if the iPhone gets the email before the MBP (seems to be most of the time as it gets them pushed - mobileme) then the rules do not take effect. I realise that this is because mail.app is using the rules and processing the messages and then updating the server.
I guess what I want are mail rules to be applied in the cloud.
Failing this, smart mailboxes would be OK but I've just tried to create one and it doesn't sync with my iPhone.
