Please forgive my ignorance, I am a bit new to this. I have a bunch of MiniDV tapes of my kid, and I need to first, get them off the tapes and onto my Mac, and second, ideally, organize the footage. WIth transfer, its easy, I guess I just have to use the firewire. But is there a clever software, that could help me organize this stuff, much like iPhoto or something? Thanks a bunch in advance!

I use Itunes...But Im sure there are a lot of people that will offer other options...
I was hoping for something that partake in the transfer process, create icons/visuals for scenes, provide labeling/sorting/date options. Am I just dreaming? Or is it something like iMovie?
