This seems like such a simple ask, but I have tens of thousands of files that I would like to order chronologically by date in icon view in ascending order (from oldest to newest, flowing from left to right). I am aware that one can perform this task from newest to oldest, but that is quite counter-intuitive, and essentially organizes everything backwards.

I know what I want to accomplish can be achieved in list view. I want icon view.

I am pretty convinced that there is not a way to achieve what I desire outside of manually performing the actions myself (which would literally take weeks). So two possible work arounds that I am hoping you can help me with.

Is there a way to "reverse order" my list of icon files? Assuming there isn't:

Is there a piece of software I could buy that would perform this simple task for me?

Thank you.
