OK, feel free to point me to the correct thread, or tell me why I am doing it wrong. Sorry if this belongs in Digital Audio area, unsure

iPhone/mac newbie, Windows/tech veteran.

So I switched to an iPhone 17 Pro.
I have used iTunes to move over my non hires/FLAC library.

I have made a second folder (Music-FLAC) on my PC with all the FLAC files.

I did some researching on music apps that will play FLAC and chose VoX

So I am looking at iTunes file sharing for moving over the music.

I was wondering what structure to use, and in all cases, if I want to individually delete stuff, it looks like I am hosed in structure unless I just have folders at the album level not the artist level.

Unless there is some other way, maybe with my Mac, to negotiate the file structure (or su to root and play around at the terminal level), then I can't have a structure like below because I won't be able to prune it as needed.

Music-FLAC/Artist1/Album 1
...
Music-FLAC/Artist1/Album n
Music-FLAC/Artistn/Album 1
...
Music-FLAC/Artistn/Album n

So then I am thinking I could move it over at the artist level

Artist1/Album 1
...
Artist1/Album n
Artistn/Album 1
...
Artistn/Album n

Then I could see the artists, and add new ones at the correct level in iTunes, but if I ever needed to add a new album to an artist I need to delete artist and add them all back in.

I do see mentions about Loop on a couple google searches, not sure what that is.

I didn't see anything in VoX settings for library pruning.
