Organizing my iPod

Since I should get my Ipod from Fedex tomorrow, I'm curious what kind of organzing I can do with all my videos and songs.

Does iTunes simply tranfer the hierarchy that the playlists have?

Does iTunes simply tranfer the hierarchy that the playlists have?

Using iTunes you can create your own choice of playlists on the iPod, so you can set it up the way you want. The iPod appears in the left pane, so you can click on it, create a new playlist and name it, then just drag tunes from your library to the new playlist and they will be copied over to the iPod.

Or you can set it to automatically mimic your iTunes library (or even just some selected playlists) too.
