Has anyone noticed their iPhone orientation locking itself from time to time?

I have an iphone 5. its frustrating me!

In what apps? You have the option to make it so the orentation is locked on the multi-tasking bar.

Other than when I set it to lock, it has not done it for me.

i know where the option is, as i have to go there to unlock it everytime it locks up on its own

Did you restore from a backup where it was locked? Maybe that is causing an issue
