I just opened it up to add some memory. Put it back together and try to power it up, its like it is plugged into a dead wall socket, yet it isnt. Anyone got any suggestions? Its my 3 yr olds and I need to get it running. It was running prior, I had just shut it off to install memory.

Have you tried both power buttons, the one on the keyboard and the one on the machine itself?

How about resetting the Power Management Unit? Do you have the original manuals?

Played with EVERYTHING! No manuals, and what is the PMU?

Congrats. The PMU can be the culprit many a times. I've had 2 issues with my iBook in the past and both were PMU things.

Glad to hear your kid is back in business though! Woot!

I told her last night, 'I think I broke your computer', she said, 'ok then, would you fix it please'. Grrr....3 yr old and shes got me hooked already!

That is too cute! I love the little chair desk- it's a perfect size. Well done. :)
