I'm looking into getting a Speck shell for my 08 macbook aluminum unibody...will the current macbook pro shell fit it? It seems that I recall hearing that the newest macbook pros are slightly thinner than my original unibody machine. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about the size, Intell could easily be right. Even if Intell is correct, the Speck case probably won't fit your MacBook: the ports on the current 13" MBP are different than the ports on your MacBook. The case may fit, but it will probably partially or completely cover/obscure some ports on your MacBook. The only way to tell is to either order one and return it if it doesn't work, or take your MacBook in to an Apple Store (or to a friend who has the current 13" MBP) and compare them.
