Original apps gone

I figured when I jail broke my phone that my apps would be missing. The ones I bought from the iTunes store. Am I able to get them back with itunes? Or do I repurchase them? I go back to iTunes and it doesn't remember that I purchased them before. Sorry about simple question. Just wanted tethering for daughter in the car for our long trip in the car. AliItte worried about security issues but I will be fine. Thanks in advance to everyone and to those involved with the jail breaking. Cheers.

just plug your iphone in and hit sync apps and they should go to your iphone
