Im needing to replace my battery and wanted to know what the OEM supplier of batteries is for this 2015 MBP A1502. I was thinking If I use the same company that supplied the OEM batter, I might get a like quality replacement.

Thanks!!

Go to the Apple > About this Mac > System Report > Power and the battery manufacturer will be listed. But Apples uses more than one battery manufacturer.

I believe Apple will still replace the battery in that model for $199. This also includes the top case.

Thanks!!, Id Rather do it myself as it saves money, and most importantly, time.

When I replaced my battery with this cheapie from Amazon, I remember the info for manufacturer, device name, etc in System Report matched what had been listed for the original Apple battery.
I don't know if that means it was OEM (doubtful), or the info was just spoofed. I no longer have that MBP so cannot check. It was the same MBP as you have.
Anyway, I had good success with this battery:

Be sure not to break anything while you're inside.

Consider:
If you take it to Apple, for $199 you get:
- a new Apple factory-original battery (probably not going to get an Apple factory battery from a 3rd-party supplier)
- installation (if something goes wrong during installation, THEY fix it)
- a short warranty.

In my book, that's "a bargain" (cue up The Who).
