Can someone running tvOS 15 beta on the OG HomePod let me know if local Siri is supported?

I've searched around the web, looked at Apple.com, and looked around the forum as well. I've been unable to find anything about the A8 chip supporting this feature.

It's something that I think would greatly improve the HomePod so I'm really hoping to see support for this.
