Hello, I have the original Ipad mini and have upgraded to the latest IOS 8. It appears that many of my apps are crashing and they don't appear to crash as much on my Iphone 5.

Performance wise -- meaning speed -- the Ipad mini is just fine.

I know Apple claims the Ipad mini will work just fine with IOS 8. However, I am beginning to suspect that App publishers that build their apps to take advantage of the later processors.

Apps I seem to have the most problem with are Yahoo Sports App and MSN Sports App.

In the real world, does the orginal Ipad mini have trouble running IOS 8 and the newly updated apps???

In for the sub. I just pulled out my old mini to use as an e-reader and decided to hit the "install update" button (from 7.1.2) as I was turning the lights out for the night.

Haven't had a chance to play with it yet today but I hope I'm not going to end up regretting it.
