I've got an original 8GB iPhone and the antenna cover didn't fit right. On the right side, the plastic wasn't flush with the metal front bezel. It seemed like the plastic was sunken in slightly, leaving a sharp edge on the right side. I didn't like this, so I took matters into my own hands. If you have an original iPhone and this type of thing bothers you, then go ahead and try out my instructions.

1. Take a sharp pocket knife and pry off the antenna cover like this
2. Take a roll of electrical tape and cut off a piece that's approximately 1/2" x 3/16" and tape it to the affected side (in my case, the right side) of the iPhone. This gives the inside of the iPhone JUST enough thickness to push that antenna cover out so that it's no longer sunken on one side.

This worked perfectly for me and I hope that others with the same problem can do some good with these instructions. The final product looks exactly normal and you cannot tell that there is tape on the inside.

By the way... this is the 4th original iPhone I've owned and 3 of them had the sunken antenna cover on the right side. This is the first time I've been able to fix it. Good luck all!
