Original Iphone Help

Since getting the new iphone 4 I gave my three year old my original iphone for movies and games and what not. However, yesterday it was acting up so I restored his phone. However, unknowingly I did so without my old sim card, which I no longer have. Now the phone is locked and i cant do anything with it. More importantly my three year old is pissed!!!

Any suggestions or easy fixes!!

Please help..
