Original Item Cannot Be Found - Ext HDD

I am connecting a Western Digital My Passport to my Time Capsule. The drive connects fine to my MBP (snow leopard) wired. However, when trying to create an Air Disk - it give me an "original item cannot be found" message. It ultimately connected, but have seen the message a few times when waking up from sleep etc.

What's up with that? How do i fix this?
