Find it odd that apple removed most of the wallpapers that can switch between light and dark mode.. there’s even an example photo in the settings under display and brightness that’s not even an option to choose from anymore. I believe it was the iOS 15 stock photo. Just curious if apple is completely done with light/dark mode or if we could see more wallpapers in future updates that would allow us to enjoy the feature again.

Light/Dark Mode is still there. When you go to Settings > Wallpaper > Customize > Three dots bottom right corner where you can pick the Appearance - Light, Dark, Automatic.

But yeah - as far as the wallpapers from iOS 15 most are gone. I still see the "animated bubbles" wallpapers that have been on iPhones for years now - that is under Collections. 🤷‍♂️

Just updated to Ventura on my MacBook Pro and noticed in wallpapers that all the old software version wallpapers are available to select from. It blows my mind that apple won’t bring this to iOS. And not only that, we still don’t have any light/dark mode wallpapers to use.

They removed all default wallpapers having dark and light modes and gave bunch of dumb smiley wallpapers catering to teens and hombres. I downloaded each of them manually and applied the dark versions. Ridonkulous.
