The iMac obviously doesnt have the airport card/adapter installed and to get both of those off Ebay would be about $100 I think (or last I checked). Found an airport basestation for $30 but didnt know if I could use this in lieu of a wireless card. Can I wire it to the iMac and then use that to connect to my wireless router and get the iMac online? Dont want to buy it and find out it wont work like this. Thanks.

any one? any one? Bueller? Bueller?

Hey, get the apple air port Express,

When you run the set up for the device you can telll it to be an enthernet bridge,
(The lan port will be like one from you're router)
its very easy to use and its also $100 and its not from ebay!

I have one hooked to a 5port dlink hub and split the enthernet to a 360 and 3 imac g3's tray and slot loading
