OS 10.4 .. which machines?

does anybody know whether a G4 powerbook install discs (10.4) will work on a powermac G4? In fact is there some kind of list out there which shows compatibility of different machines which will work with which most recent software installs/updates?

Restore discs for one Apple computer will not work on another unless they are exactly the same model with the same processor, video card, etc.
