Hi guys,

I am currently running OS 10.6.5 and have purposely not updated to 10.6.6 after reading some of reports about it here and on the Apple Support forum.

If the 10.6.7 update largely appears to be without problems can I download the combo updater for it and jump from 10.6.5 to 10.6.7?

Yes. Combo Updaters for 10.6 let you go from any prior version of 10.6 to that version (10.6.5 -> 10.6.7 will be fine).

FWIW, no update is without problems. You read about all manner of problems after any update. The best thing to do is create a TimeMachine backup, or clone your drive, right before updating. Then if you have problems you can roll back.

What specific problems are you referring to? I use 10.6.6 without any problems.
