OS 3.0, anyone else see this?

Yesterday while trying to get my MMS to work, I was toggling airplane mode back and forth when a new carrier menu came up. Anyone else see this?

That's what shows up when you roam. It's been there since 2.0 at least, and probably 1.1.4, as well.

Yeah, it's there in 2.0. I managed to get it to show up briefly once.

Amusingly, when I opened it, I was presented with this image, which gave me three choices: 'Automatic', 'AT&T', and 'AT&T.' Some selection.

I had the 3 selections too, Automatic, and the 2 AT&T ones.

It happens when you tap 'Carrier'. How you managed to get it to pop up by toggling Airplane Mode is beyond me.

I imagine the two AT&T's are the two bands that AT&T uses in NA and you happen to live in an area that gets both
