OS 3.1, 5.0 Carrier File, no MMS?

I just restored my phone putting it at 3.1 with a 5.0 carrier file (not hacked) and i dont have an icon for MMS. I just updated to 3.1 this morning had the icon and everything, MMS worked, but i was messing with my phone and did a full restore as a new phone and now i dont have the MMS icon or MMS option under my network. Anyone have any ideas?

Sigh...september 25th is AT$T giving out MMS, I on the other hand, DONT even have the icon under messaging. Everyone else has the icon there is even a thread called...3.1 TRY MMS, im wondering why after i restored it, why i dont have the mms icon.

mms and the icon come sept 25.

at&t really needs to update their press release to say the MMS icon is coming sept 25 with MMS.
or else people won't know what theyre talking about

I just used the 5.1 carrier file hack, I have MMS back, thanks guys for the help and responses.

I'm having problems with my friend's phone. My 3GS works fine, but he's getting the same standard MMS website and an error when he tries to send one. He does have the camera and such though.

Could it be that anyone with an iPhone messaging plan can't use it till the 25th, but if you have a family texting plan, it works? It works fine for me, but I do have that family texting plan. He doesn't...

I just got MMS working here in San Diego. I believe the key to getting it working is to be on a non-iphone messaging plan (in addition to the 5.1 ipcc). I switched my plan from the iphone 200 to the regular 200 and it started working.

My MMS icon went away when I upgraded from 3.1 beta 3 (it didn't work in the beta though)
