Does anyone know how to remove programs from the Menu Bar on OS 8.6
I have AOL instant messenger and Netcomplete next to the time. I removed the Applications but they are still up there.

You probably either have Extensions or Control Panels installed for those.

Inside the System Folder in Control Panels and Extensions look for anything related to AOL and Netcomplete and remove it. You can make a Control Panels (Disabled) and an Extensions (Disabled) folder to place those in case you need them back.

Restart.
