Is there are way to install OS 9.2.2 from the regular Jaguar package bought at Apple stores. I looked around on the CD's and don't see anything that indicates that it is there. I have an ebay auction (Click Here) and a protential buyer wanted to know if it was included.

If you are wanting to install Mac OS 9.2.2 from the "Jaguar" retail package as a classic environment in Mac OS X, then yes, they are in there.
If you want to use the "Jaguar" retail package to install only Mac OS 9.2.2 on an older box that does not have Mac OS X, I don't know. Do you have a machine than can boot into Mac OS 9, if so you might try booting from the "Jaguar" install CD and see if it will come up with Mac OS 9.
There might be a way to take an older, bootable Mac OS 9 CD and copy the system folder from the "Jaguar" install cd and make a "hybred" that will boot.

Retail Jaguar CDs do NOT have OS 9 on them, only system restore CDs do. Even for the system restore CDs, unless the disc says OS 9 on it you must install OS X first before you can install classic(OS 9).

you need osx on your machine to do this if you dont have a os9 install cd !
if u can get a restore dvd then download a program called tinkertool and insert the disc then open tinkertool and tick to show hidden files.
right now search the disc there should be a os 9 system dmg file on it that was hidden previously just mount it and copy the resultant file to the root level of your harddrive !! also copy over the os9 applications to the same place.
now you should be able to see os9 in your start-up disks ( if you want to use a jaguar disc then first put osx on your chosen system then do the above and just delete the osx if you dont want it !!! )
