OS 9 fan control?

I'm not entirely sure whats going on, but on my Wallstreet the fans no longer seem to work beyond the initial boot. Was there ever an application put out by anybody to manually adjust the fan speeds or should I take the burnt dust smell as a sign of the times?
 
I take it you have reset the Wallstreet? You don't have any utilities/extensions that could interfere with the fans?
 
I've reset everything and shouldn't have any extensions that would interfere with normal fan usage. The problem really came out of the blue, the fans just stopped working during normal usage but still fire up during regular system stuff.
