Ok guys I've been trying to look up a safe way to delete OS 9 for a while now and can't seem to find it anywhere. I just recently switched so I really have to attachment to the OS as a matter of fact compared to OS X it seems really outdated. The only thing I have that requires is a game and it works just fine running in classic. Also does anyone know how I can get a certain file type to be opened by a specific program?

Yes, get info (apple-i) on one of the files that you want to change the app for. There should be an arrow next to the phrase "Open with:", click that arrow and you will see a box that you can select the app you would like to open the file with. Underneath that there is a button that says "Change all" just hit that and you are good to go.
