OS refreshes finder and close itself every 2min.

I am really annoying that my Mac refreshes finder itself every 2min. when I open folders, windows close automatically. also, if I transfer data, mac quit transferring too.

please help me. and let me know how to fix.
it's happened since a week ago.

You probably recently updated to QuickTime 7.6 also- and it has been discussed here a lot that QT 7.6 and 10.4.11 have a problem IF Stuffit AVR is on your system. Open your System Preferences and look in the bottom section- if you have a pref pane called Stuffit AVR, open it and set it to "Off" and your problem should disappear. Good luck.
