I've just seen an ad for an early 17" Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro (see specs in header) with SSD and 8GB RAM, claimed to be running OS Ventura. Is this possible, even with a legacy patcher?
If so how would Ventura perform on such a machine? Satisfactorily, very well or poorly?
Thanks in advance.

Possible with satisfactory performance. Obviously performance HEAVILY dependent on specific computing activities. And obviously satisfactory performance is subjective.
