I have an 8 year old Powerbook G4 with OS X 10.2.8 installed on it that my friend gave me. I figured out the guest password, but I don't have the admin password. I could just ask him for the password, but I thought it would be more fun to try and break in.

Does anyone know any vulnerabilities in 10.2.8 that would let me get admin access? :D

You can try playing around with this.

Cheers

Download or borrow any version of an OSX install disk 10.3 or later. Boot from that. Open disk utility and change the admin password.
