Your phone uses MTP to transfer files. OS X doesn't support that. There's Android File Transfer for newer versions, but for Tiger...?

There's a version of Android File Transfer that runs in Leopard, but it can't see anything I've got. I'm guessing Android 10 is just too new. Which makes sense, what with the fact that Android didn't come out until 2009 or so.

I never had luck using a newish Android directly like that, but someone on this forum recommended I try the Airdroid app, and it worked perfectly for wireless data transfer. Just install the Airdroid app on your phone, then use the web interface on OSX. The site was pretty slow for me, but I never really took any time to try to optimize it either.

Android File Transfer that runs in Leopard dose not work, tried with all my droid devices. Cant see anything I think its only for android 1-3v.

This is what I did when I was using PowerPC Macs + Android. I used a micro SD card and a USB to micro SD adapter to transfer files to the card. A card reader will work just as well.

The important thing to make it work is to format the SD card on the phone, and format it as external. This allows you to put the SD card in any phone and use the data. If you use the SD as internal, it will only work with that phone until you format it again.

But keep in mind... the last time I did this was 2016, and with Android 6.

So a B&W Powermac and a P20 lite mobile phone. Thus far, can't get it to appear on the desktop. Anyone know if there's a way I can get them talking?

During lock down, I've had my bleeding edge pc swapped out for my G4 B&W.
I know I'm late to the party here, but I've been struggling trying to recall which app I used to use to sync my old HTC Touch Pro to my TiBook.

If you can find it, you may want to try Syncmate 2.5. It's by Eltima. I have version 3.6, which is Leopard so that won't help you. Unfortunately, at this time I can't dig around for 2.5 which I suspect I may have. But it should be out there somewhere. Perhaps the wayback machine.
