OS X (10.4 Tiger)

Need some help. Just purchased Tiger 10.4.8. Tried to install it on G4 Cube (450MHZ, 320MB ram, os 10.2.8).

Get this error:

Kernel Panic (....something about cpu 0....)
Unable to find driver for this platform: "Powermac5,1"

I can't go beyond this screen to install Tiger. I don't know what this is.
What do I need to do? Thanks for your help.

what colour is the disc? if its grey its probably a restore disc thats bundled with a Power Mac in which case you wont be able to install it on your G4 Cube. you have to purchase the retail version of Tiger which has the grey "X" on a black background graphic.

Thank you for your insight. Unfortunately, they are grey dics, which means they are restore discs.
