OS X 10.5.8 does not display any hard disk size

Hello Forum,

I have an old G4 iBook with OS X 10.5.8 on it. Besides the system there is nothing else installed on the computer. It works basically fine. However, when I look at the hard disk info (File -> Get Info) it shows nothing ("--") for "Capacity" and "Available" and "Zero KB" for "Used".

Does anybody know how this can be fixed?

What does the system profile say for the drive? Click on: >About This Mac>More Info
