[OS X 10.6] FTP user have access to everything...!?

[OS X 10.6 Mountain Lion]

I started FTP File Sharing and it works as expected - BUT the FTP client is allowed to see everything on the entire drive...!

I have set the Home Directory to a folder, but you are still able to go down in the hierarchy and see everything else on the computer. I want the user to ONLY see her home directory (and folders in it of course), nothing else.

How do I solve this?

Sounds like you need to change the user account permissions. As I recall you can do this in the workgroup manager, http://support.apple.com/kb/PH8248

I am using a 10.6 client, not the server version. And I have tried to change the permissions to no avail.

I recall that there should be a FTP terminal command to set this. Ie, that "the account is only allowed to see her set home folder"...
