Hello,
I'm new to Macs, and to this forum. Hopefully this is the right place for this question.
I have a Windows XP machine that holds all of my music. It's a huge library, and for several reasons, I think I will continue adding my new music to that library. However, I've just gotten an iMac with a huge hard drive. I'd like to 'mirror' the two music folders from my Windows machine to my iMac. Is that possible? Both machines see each other and have full access to each other. I'd love it if I could do a one time copy of the two music folders on my PC over to the Mac, and then have the Mac periodically (or live) copy over any new files added to the PC library. I do use iTunes on the Mac. Is my goal something that iTunes could do, simply by monitoring the folders and adding to its own library? Or is there a better way? The iMac is currently running 10.4.11, but I am about to install Snow Leopard.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
