OS X and Windows printing

I have a question that has no doubt been answered before, but I couldn't find it on here through a forum search.

I am trying to print to an HP PCS 1315 printer connected to an XP Pro machine via USB. My iMac is connected to the dell through a wireless router. Believe me I have tried almost everything and i cannot get my iMac to print to the printer only 20 feet away. Any help you guys would be awesome : )

EDIT: alright, i just searched again with better luck, however, either i'm an idiot (which i dun think i are) or my HP printer just aint gunna print over a wireless network due to driver issues on HP's part. *sigh*

Don't give up yet. I've been running a very similar setup to for years.

Can you print from the Dell machine?

What driver are you using on the Mac?

Tried installing Bonjour on the XP machine? Bonjour makes things simpler...

You have to have the driver for the printer installed on your Mac for it to work as well.
