hi
working with os x for the first time i need to find out how to run xgrid through the terminal with simple bash so i can get to sharing and settings any help should be simple enough OS X simple cycle

Xgrid is dead. It's been dead since 10.8's release.

You can find more articles on its demise simply by googling xgrid.

Since you didn't identify your OS version, the shell commands should still be there if you're running 10.7 or lower. For those, read the man pages in Terminal, and try the apropos command. On 10.8 or higher, though, it's dead.
