I am a new switcher, my PB should be arriving on Tuesday next week. I was wondering if there are any good books for OS X? Thanks for your help.

The Missing Manual series published by O'Reilly is worth buying, as well as the Visual QuickStart Guides from Peachpit Press.

Missing Manual -- my current fave esp. for switchers.
Nice, easy-to-follow style with interesting introductory chapters.
