I have an early 2008 Macbook Pro updated to El Capitan with no issues for a few weeks. One day came home to the MBP hot to the touch with the screen closed. Unplugged and removed battery to let cool. The MBP never came to life, so I took it apart and removed logic board and cooked it as shown online. Put back together and it came up normally and I went into my encrypted user account and played some music on the hard drive with no problems. I shut it down and restarted with the "logging in to the account failed because of an error occurred" message at login. I can get into my alternate account that is not encrypted and get around, but the user file under users has the "no access" red circle on it. I feel like it is an issue with FileVault and or keychains. Any suggestions?
