I have used Hotspot shield for about 12months now, on and off..Have found it to be good, useful and easy.
However, for some reason it seems to be running in the background once I have logged out, and quit from the application.
I am located in Australia, and if I get on google.com and google say eBay, it will bring up UK eBay, seems to be UK sites its bringing up. I have never had this problem with google.com (it has always just defaulted to Australian websites)
If I go to google.com.au, all is fine.
More so a problem when I log in to gumtree.com.au over here in Australia (a trading website, similar to ebay) it doesn't like me because it doesn't believe that I am from Australia, rather has a pop up message, asking if I am located in Australia and have a VPN on, please turn it off to continue.
This has never happened before (and I use this website often). Infact, I have restored from my latest back up and am still having the issue.
Is it possible that the VPN is somehow running in the background, or something going on with the router? I don't want this happening to all my local Australian websites.
