OS X intel version or the same?

Is the Tiger install disc that came with my Macbook designed just for intel based macs? or is this suitable for a PPC too?

The one that came with your MacBook will probably only work with MacBooks. Usually ones that come bundled with systems only work for those kind of systems. The ones purchased from Apple by themselves work for all supported systems.

The version you have probably won't even work on a MacBook Pro.

it absolutely will not work on a PPC system. it is designed specifically for the computer you have, so Panda is right in that it won't even work on a MBP.

Yeah i picked up Emac tiger OS disks tonight off ebay for a few quid (and yeah its for an emac!!!111)
