Very strange- all my trusty default keyboard shortcuts, i.e cmd-shift-3, cmd-tab, F12, etc. no longer work! I've fiddled around in various system pref's but no luck. White MacBook, OS X v10.5.7. Any ideas?

Have you checked  -> System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts? Some of the shortcuts might have come unchecked for some reason...

Hey BlueRevolution- yes, I did take a look at Keyboard Shortcuts and restored them to defaults. I also checked out Keyboard & Mouse/Mouse, to make sure the 3rd and 4th buttons were still assigned to Dashboard and Expose, respectively. I forgot to mention in my original post that Dashboard and Expose aren't working either- unless assigned to only the fn key on my keyboard!

This is a weird one for sure. Maybe I need to zap the PRAM...

Yes! I set up a new user account and the shortcuts worked. When I switched back to my real account, they worked! Thanks for that, BR.
