OS X Leopard 10.5 for a PowerBook

I have this G4 PowerBook that actually still works pretty well, except for a bit of overheating but I never upgraded it past 10.3.

I'm pretty sure 10.5 is the furthest I can upgrade it because it's not an Intel machine but I'm trying to figure out how to procure this mythical Leopard without have to spend a hundred dollars on it.

$90 or more appears to be common on eBay and other sources. In order to get a better deal you will have to find someone unaware or uncaring of the market price or wait and hope for the price to fall. It is hard for me to believe that the old OS still commands such a price, but there it is.

also if going to leopard...make sure you max out the ram

unless you need newer versions of itunes ect...and mainly use your pb for internet ect...i would rec just upgrading to tiger

with whatever ram you have now...tiger will run faster on your system then panther
