OS X Leopard - freezing during installation

So I am installing Leopard as we speak - However, the mouse is frozen, the "blue scroll" is not moving and its been saying "54 minutes" in time remaining for the last 30 minutes. What the hell do I do? HELP PLEASE.

thank you, but the link you provided discusses the blue screen problem.

my question is when the 'INSTALLING" screen is frozen, what do i do.

i actually just restarted and it's loading again. hoping for the best..

my guess is i am should have backed it up more.
