OS X Leopard - GUI Performance

Dear OS X Leopard Fans,

for some time I´ve been wondering if the GUI Performance in Leopard is besser than in OS X Tiger. This leads me to the following questions:

1) Is the UI faster than in Tiger?
2) Will it use Quartz 2D Extreme? (Q2DX)
3) Will we see some pixelshader effects (overall gui revamp?)
4) How will be vector graphics (scale the ui) implemented?

any ideas or things seen in the leopard beta?
