Hey everyone,

I am trying to find some testimonies of people who got this behavior with OS X Lion, but cant find anywhere. I have heard about folks who gets their Lion to freeze for a few seconds once in a while, but what I am experiencing is pretty different. Besides the OS getting stuck (anywhere between 5 seconds and one minute), my screen also freezes and starts shaking from right to left, as if going out of the monitor. It's so annoying I cant even explain.

Whats interesting is that I am experiencing this on two of my macbook pros.

Did anyone see this by any chance? Any advice as to how to handle that besides waiting for a SW update?

Thanks!

I had a very similar problem and when I disabled window animations it seemed to have fixed it. You can try it by typing this in the Terminal:

defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSAutomaticWindowAnimationsEnabled -bool NO

You might need to log out and log back in for it to take affect. I don't remember.

Thanks, but this doesnt resolve my issue.
