Since the upgrade to Lion, whenever you close a program without specifically closing the document you were working on (in Word, TextEdit, whatever), it automatically re-opens that same file the next time you launch the program. Personally I cannot stand this new feature. When I close a program, I am closing it for a reason, and I fell it's more of a hassle to press CMD-W before CMD-Q than it is to just re-open the file manually upon subsequent launches if I want to. More often than not I am momentarily confused when, for example, I launch Excel and suddenly I'm staring at an old spreadsheet instead of a blank one.

Please tell me there is some sort of way to disable this rather annoying new Lion feature!
