Hi, my friend gave me there laptop to fix and after looking into it i find out that the password needs to be reset but thats not the main problem. when the machine boots it loads to a white login screen and it is almost right after the apple logo appears. no loading bar no nothing just press the power button wait about 15 secs and login screen. no the machine does not have an ssd. after a but of picking around it looks like the install of os x is bad as i cant find anything about the previous user. would reinstalling the os be the best thing to do?
