I have two MacBooks, both running Mavericks. I am using Mail on both.
I have an 2 IMAP emails account (one is iCloud). They are both activated on MacBook A. I have just installed Mavericks on MacBook B and both accounts appear there too. I don't want the non-iCloud account on MacBook B. I click on account in Mail and a list of accounts appear. I click on the account I wan't to disappear and I get three options. a) Remove From All, b) Cancel c) Turn Off Account.
Option c) Disables the account, but leave the account in the list labeled "Inactive". That's not what I want. I want it to disappear all together.
Option a) removes the account all together, but also removes the account from MacBook A. That's not what I want either.
I want the account to be used on MacBook A and not appear in the list of accounts in MacBook B.
I want my iCloud account to be on both MacBooks and to be synched between them.
How do I do that?
